Mercedes Bezada
Owner/Infant Lead teacher
Meet Mercedes Bezada, our Infant II Teacher at Apple Tree Learning Center! Originally from Peru, Mercedes has been enriching lives in the USA for over 40 years. With a strong background in early childhood education, she earned her associate degree from Urban College and has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds. Her extensive experience includes working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, with a special focus on creating engaging and supportive environments for infants.
In addition to her role at Apple Tree, Mercedes is the proud owner of Tender Moments Family Daycare in Swampscott and Apple Tree Learning Center. Her commitment to high-quality care and education is evident in the warm, welcoming atmospheres she fosters, helping children grow both emotionally and intellectually.
Outside of her professional life, Mercedes treasures her time with family. She loves traveling and creating lasting memories with her husband, children, and granddaughter. Her dedication, experience, and warm heart make her an invaluable part of our team.
Rocio Bezada
Meet Rocio Bezada
Rocio Bezada is the Founding Director, Center Director, and Curriculum Director at Apple Tree Learning Center. Originally from Peru, Rocio is EEC-certified and brings over seven years of experience in early childhood education.
Rocio has played a key role in building Apple Tree Learning Center and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. She works closely with teachers and families to ensure every child receives high-quality care and meaningful learning experiences.
Rocio is currently continuing her education in Early Childhood Education and is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. As a bilingual educator, she speaks both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively support and connect with diverse families.
One of Rocio’s favorite parts of the day is reading books to children and listening to their stories, ideas, and experiences. She believes these moments help build meaningful connections and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Outside of work, Rocio enjoys traveling, exploring nature, learning about the history of the countries she visits, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
Her dedication, leadership, and passion for early childhood education make her a valued member of the Apple Tree Learning Center community.

Doris Bezada
Director and Infant Lead teacher
Meet Doris Bezada, our Program Director and Infant Program Lead Teacher at Apple Tree Learning Center! Originally from Peru, Doris has called the USA home for nearly 23 years. With a deep passion for early childhood education, she earned her associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Urban College of Boston and is a certified director and Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher.
Doris brings a wealth of experience to our team, having worked extensively with infants, toddlers, and preschool, with a special expertise in nurturing infants. Her dedication to fostering a loving and enriching learning environment makes her an invaluable leader at Apple Tree.
When she’s not shaping young minds, Doris loves to travel and create cherished memories with her family. Her commitment to early childhood education and her caring nature make her an inspiring educator and a vital part of our preschool community.
Eliana Jackson
Eliana Jackson is originally from Colombia and holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Urban College Of Boston. She is EEC-certified as a Lead Teacher for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Center Director.
With over five years of experience in early childhood education, Eliana is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. She believes every child has unique potential and focuses on fostering independence, confidence, emotional development, and learning through play. Eliana is dedicated to supporting each child's growth while building strong relationships with families and encouraging a lifelong love of learning.
Liset Carmona
Infant Teacher
Meet Lis has had a passion for working with children from a young age. Growing up in a family devoted to childcare, she was inspired by the nurturing influence of her grandmother and aunts—women who have dedicated their lives to early childhood education.
Thanks to the opportunity at Apple Tree Learning Center, Lis has become a valued member of our team. She recently completed her certification in Early Childhood Education at North Shore Community College, officially becoming a certified Infant Teacher. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to professional growth make her a wonderful addition to our Apple Tree family.
Outside the classroom, Lis enjoys spending quality time with her family, roller skating, and exploring new places. We are excited to have her on our team and look forward to supporting her continued journey in this rewarding field.
Angelica Gonzalez
Angelica Gonzalez is the Lead Preschool Teacher at Apple Tree Learning Center. Originally from Colombia, she holds a Psychology degree and is Certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) as a Lead Teacher. With a passion for early childhood education, Angelica is dedicated to creating a nurturing ,engaging, and supportive learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Her warm and caring approach helps every child feel valued, confident, and ready to learn.

Credentials: EEC Certified Preschool Lead Teacher, CDA Certified

Gloria Restrepo
Toddler Teacher
Meet Gloria, our new Toddler Teacher at Apple Tree Learning Center. Gloria has studied Child Growth and Development and brings experience working with young children. She is trained in early stimulation, pediatric first aid, and positive discipline. Gloria is also a CDA certified.
Gloria is passionate about creating a safe and stimulating environment for toddlers, using play, music, sensory exploration, and structured routines to help them feel secure and foster their development.
Her dedication to nurturing young minds makes her a wonderful addition to our Team , and we look forward to all the great things she will accomplish with our little ones!
